Holy moly man.
That phrase best describes Charles Taylor’s recording with Tone Tree Audio, LLC in summer 2019. Charles brought incredible optimism, humor and creativity to his sessions in Kearney, Nebraska at Summit Church Studio. He also brought his son AJ along to play guitar (and, as it turned out, it was AJ’s birthday).
Tone Tree Audio recorded, mixed and mastered Charles’ album, titled ‘New Beginnings (And Some Non-Necessary Non-Sense)’ which he released on CD in October 2019.
His original songs span multiple genres, including oldies rock, folk and gospel. The upbeat, faithful ‘New Creation’ kicks off the album with glorious drive, while the slower paced ‘Throw The First Stone’ showcases Charles’ unique vocal vibrato. A standout track on the album, ‘Love In Aisle 24’ features AJ on lead guitar parts and a humorous but heartfelt story.
Charles said this about the recording and production process: “I liked working with [Tone Tree Audio] because he is so professional yet also down to earth. He took the songs I wrote and added just enough drums and bass to make them sound better than I thought possible.”
