Tone Tree Audio had the pleasure of working again with the talented Kearney High School Band for their upcoming CD release encapsulating students' performances over the course of the 2014-2015 school year.
Nathan LeFeber and Rick Mitchell, who both direct the Kearney High School Bands at KHS, helped with the coordination and setup of each ensemble, starting with the Marching Band in late 2014 and the other ensembles, including Wind, Concert and Symphonic bands, in early 2015.
Recording a full student group is a challenge, considering the acoustic space and time limits to work within for class times. However, LeFeber, Mitchell and Tone Tree Audio engineer Kent Lutt enjoyed each minute as the students delivered dazzling performances of complex arrangements.
